Michael CollinsAssociate Professor (Remote Sensing)
Department of Geomatics Engineering
Dr. Collins' field of specialization is remote sensing and he has an active research program that includes imaging geometry, environmental monitoring and image interpretation. He has strong research connections throughout western Canada and is also active in the GEOID NCE both as a project leader and an investigator.
Dr. Collins will initially be involved in the teaching of remote sensing and computer programming. He is the recipient of several teaching excellence awards. Michael will join a growing group of faculty in our department involved in remote sensing, GIS and environmental monitoring
